North Shore might have rumours of being unsafe and some of them are true but there are area which are suitable for International students to live.Recently, there has been a housing crisis in Kamloops and many International students planned to settle down in North shore.For people who are still afraid of getting a place in North Shore, this blog post will help you select a safe neighbourhood around here to settle down.

1) Westsyde –

This area is towards the end of North shore and the neighbourhood is very organized and there are no homeless or junkies around this place.You can find mostly houses and townhouses here to rent but there are no apartment buildings and this is what made this area look beautiful since there are no tall buildings to interfere with the natural scenic beauty.

2) Batchelor Heights –

This area is in North Shore but like other places here , this place is a bit elevated and it is located a bit uphill. This does not mean that its tough to navigate around or move during winter and the houses around here are usually duplex and this means a bigger group of students can rent and have the place to themselves to live and study together.

3) Brocklehurst –

Brocklehurst has amazing weather compared to any other place in Kamloops and thus during winter moving around here is very easy.There are apartment complex and houses as well in this area.The bus service around here is a bit slow but having a personal car can change the whole perspective.
